From Childhood Memories To Coastal Living

Mollie Malouf fell in love with 30A long before she ever imagined building a career in the area. What began as childhood family vacations to Seaside and WaterColor eventually became the place she chose to call home — and the community she's now proud to introduce to others.

Originally from Greenwood, Mississippi, Mollie grew up making the familiar drive to the Emerald Coast with her family. Summers were filled with bike rides through WaterColor, afternoons at Camp WaterColor, trips to Seaside for ice cream, and the kind of unhurried days that made the beach feel like a second home. Over time, that annual tradition became something more. She found herself drawn not only to the area's natural beauty, but to the lifestyle it encourages, one centered on family, community, and spending more time outdoors than indoors.

After attending The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mollie earned a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and design with a minor in marketing from Mississippi State University. Leaving home to attend boarding school at 16 proved to be one of the defining experiences of her life, teaching her independence, broadening her perspective, and giving her the confidence to pursue opportunities far beyond her hometown.

Earned confidence ultimately led her back to the place she had loved since childhood. Four years ago, Mollie moved to 30A knowing virtually no one, determined to build both a career and a life she had always envisioned. The decision paid off. Today, she has established herself in one of the country's most competitive luxury real estate markets, closing nearly $10 million in sales during her first year.

Real estate has always been part of Mollie's story. Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, she grew up watching her parents operate a successful mortgage and investment company while learning firsthand how homeownership can shape generations of families. Her grandfather, founder of the internationally recognized luxury furnishings company John-Richard, sparked an appreciation for thoughtful design, architecture, and craftsmanship that naturally complements her work today.

Those experiences taught Mollie that every home has a story — and every client does, too. One of her favorite parts of the job is learning what brings people to the Emerald Coast, hearing what inspired their search, and helping them discover the neighborhood that feels like home. Whether clients are relocating full-time, purchasing a second home, or investing in a place where future family memories will be made, she enjoys guiding them through every step of the journey with patience, honesty, and genuine care.

Outside of real estate, Mollie embraces everything that first drew her to the area. She enjoys quiet mornings with a latte from Fonville Press, afternoons by the pool with a good book, shopping local boutiques, exploring the farmers market, discovering new restaurants, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She also returns to Mississippi whenever she can to be with her close-knit family, whose entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering support continue to inspire her every day.

For Mollie, helping someone purchase a home means more than completing a transaction. It's an opportunity to welcome others into a place that has shaped so many of her favorite memories — and to help them begin creating their own.
