Brian Orkin

Real estate is in Brian Orkin's DNA. His father works in commercial real estate in Alpharetta, Georgia, and Brian says he always has enjoyed architecture and going to open houses. Then, older brother Alex suggested joining him at Scenic Sotheby's International Realty.

Alex helped Brian connect with Mike and Sarah Vogel, and now Brian is a team agent with The Vogel Group in Inlet Beach.

Customer service is what Brian finds to be the most important part of his job, even in his previous work in restaurants and golf cart sales in the Atlanta area. He says he loves helping clients find exactly what they want and helping them make their dreams become reality.

One of Brian's favorite quotes is, "The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination." He says his patience, optimism and hard-working attitude help him when working with clients. He realizes the process isn't always easy, but he also knows he has the ability to fix things along the way. He says he's always ready to do whatever it takes to make sure his clients get what they need.

While he's a new resident, Brian has been a frequent visitor to the 30A area his entire life. His father rented here before eventually buying a house. In his free time, Brian enjoys being active. That includes hiking, paddleboarding, running and weightlifting. He also enjoys woodworking, even being named artist of the month in an Atlanta-area newspaper for his woodturning.
