Marc Miller
Marc Miller’s path to real estate began long before he ever held a license. While in middle school, his mother and stepfather relocated to the Emerald Coast, and school breaks quickly turned into long days biking to the beach with his older brother. That’s when the attachment began. Years later, a Department of Defense scholarship through Virginia Tech brought him back — this time with purpose.
A magna cum laude graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in naval engineering, Marc was selected into the SMART Scholarship-for-Service program, launching his career at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division. As a test director, he led comprehensive systems-testing initiatives, including mine detection and neutralization systems that integrated fleet-proven sensor technology and artificial intelligence. His team received both a Commanding Officer/Technical Director Award and an Innovation Award for advancing a Chief of Naval Operations priority mission. He was later selected for the NAVSEA NextGen Leadership Development Program.
But while the engineering was meaningful, something was missing.
Real estate had long been a quiet pursuit. In college, Marc completed additional coursework in property management. He and his wife, Kendall — his high-school sweetheart — purchased a duplex, renovated it, and house-hacked. Their next home was a live-in flip. During COVID telework, after months behind red-line drawings, he realized he wanted work that was hands-on, relational, and impactful.
Today, Marc specializes in Panama City Beach — particularly the west end — while expanding into 30A. He is known for being data-driven and deeply communicative. He relies on market data rather than guesswork, providing clear numbers, honest guidance, and frequent updates so clients can make confident decisions without pressure. He has a particular passion for expired listings, first-time buyers, and helping clients avoid costly mistakes — once even helping a homeowner reduce $180,000 in code enforcement fines to $18,000 before listing.
A 2024 Tom Ferry “Thirty Under 30” recipient and four-time RE/MAX 100% Club award winner, Marc also achieved top sales at his previous 30A brokerage in 2024 and 2025.
Outside of real estate, Marc serves as worship director at Redeemer 30A and volunteers with YoungLife South Walton. He and Kendall are raising two daughters, Lainey and Isla, alongside their goldendoodle, Coati. Whether he’s surfing at sunrise, playing music, or dunking a basketball, Marc approaches life guided by Colossians 3:23–24 — working wholeheartedly, as unto the Lord.
