The Emerald Coast has a pull, a draw, an undeniable attraction for many, and for me it is no different. I first came to visit the area on vacation during college and loved it.
After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Journalism in 2004, I headed home to Lake Forest, Illinois, a town north of Chicago. The winters can be quite cold and dreary. I had to get away and find a place to warm my chilled bones and one lucky day the Emerald Coast came calling.
I made South Walton my home in 2005 working as a reporter at the Walton Sun. The magnificent beauty and laid back lifestyle of 30A permeated my soul and infused into my DNA— I had found home.
Christina and I met along Scenic Highway 30A in 2006 and were married in July 2008. In 2009 I became a Realtor and have been working with buyers and sellers at Scenic Sotheby's International Realty ever since.
I focus with sellers on listing and selling their luxury residential real estate, second homes and investment property along Scenic 30A, which include Seaside, WaterColor, WaterSound, Alys Beach, Seacrest Beach, Grayton Beach, Rosemary Beach and Seagrove (to name a few), as well as Sandestin and Destin. I also provide our customers with the details and support they need throughout the closing process once under contract to ensure a seamless transition to owning property here at the beach. Helping our customers create wealth through 1031 tax exchanges is one of our specialties.
Scenic 30A is the 17-mile stretch of white sugary beaches located between Destin and Panama City. Little beach communities line this wonderful stretch of Paradise, side by side each with their own charm and character. South Walton has the largest concentration of rare coastal dune lakes in the world and since 40% of the land is preserved for nature, it's also a wonderful place to spot wildlife in their natural habitat.

Christina and I have a proven track record selling luxury Florida real estate and 2020 marks my eleventh year here and Christina's sixteenth. 2019 was our most successful year personally and professionally. We closed over $37.8 million in luxury real estate here in Florida and while we were celebrating our eleventh wedding anniversary we found out we were expecting two baby girls! 2018 was an amazing year as well with over $43 million sold in 2017-2018. In 2016, Christina and I sold more than $33 million in luxury real estate with another $27 million in 2015, $27 million in 2014 and more than $21 million in 2013. In 2012, Christina and I sold $24.5 million (59 properties), another $25.5 million in 2011 (nearly 50 properties), $17.4 million in 2010, and more than $19 million in 2009. Our experience in the local market provides our customers an excellent advantage when investing here in FL.
