Jo Stewart

A former senior banking executive in Washington, D.C., Jo moved to Sandestin on the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida in 2008 with her husband Jim, a newly retired CBS News correspondent. She quickly excelled from a newcomer in home sales to one of the area's top Real Estate agents. Her speciality is luxury single family and vacation homes throughout South Walton including those in Sandestin and the unique beach communities along Scenic Highway 30A.

Since joining the marketplace in 2009, Jo has consistently ranked in the Top 1% of area REALTORS®, selling over $100 million in property. Her luxury home sales in Sandestin over the past 5 years surpass those of her nearest competitor by twofold.

Before moving to Sandestin, Jo was Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of United Bank in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. There, she oversaw a $2 billion portfolio consisting primarily of commercial real estate in the Washington metropolitan area.

Jo is a resident of Burnt Pine, a private community in Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, and is president of its neighborhood association. She is a member of the Sandestin Beach Club advisory board, serves on the board of directors of Walton County Habitat for Humanity, and is a patron of the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation.
