A graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Finance, Tanner is very active in the local community and state Realtor associations, constantly investing in his professional development. Tanner is currently on the Northwest Florida State College Board of Trustees, served as a Walton County Florida Planning Commissioner, the Finance Chair and member of the Church Council of Good News Methodist Church, and is a former Board of Directors & Treasurer of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors. He is married to Katie, who also happens to be his Real Estate partner. Together, they have two children.
