12th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction Patron Packages

You don’t want to miss the 12th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction held on April 28- 30, 2017. Our own Chris Abbott, co-owner and broker of Scenic Sotheby’s, is on the board and we are a proud sponsor once again this year! Get your Patron Package soon! The Patron packages are now available at $2250 per package (for two people), but will increase on March 1st to $2,500. These packages consist of two tickets for the entire auction weekend, including a patron dinner experience on Friday, April 28 at 6:00 PM. Each dinner will feature a nationally recognized chef paired with world-class celebrity vintners. The dinners will provide a unique opportunity to interact with fellow wine enthusiasts while enjoying innovative cuisine and the world’s best wines. As patrons, you will also enjoy complimentary transportation to and from your dinner.


Also, included in the Patron Package is the Reserve Tasting and Live Auction on Saturday, April 29th beginning at 1:00 PM, with the live auction at 3:00 PM. This event will be held under an air- conditioned tent in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin Town Center. It will feature distinctive wines from internationally acclaimed vintners, poured and paired with cuisine created by a selection of the area’s top local restaurants. The Reserve Tasting will be accompanied by a silent auction as well as a live auction which will feature wine, autographed large format bottles, art and more. The live auction will include rare and distinctive wines, spectacular trips and other incredible one-of-a-kind items.


Finally, your patron package offers tickets to South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival on Sunday, April 30th. The Wine and Food Festival takes place in Grand Boulevard in conjunction with the auction. Throughout the Town Center of Grand Boulevard, attendees will enjoy such attractions as Spirits Row, Champagne Lane Tastings, Savor South Walton Culinary Village, Nosh Pavilions, Tasting Seminars, Craft Beer & Spirits Jam, live entertainment and more than 800 wines poured by knowledgeable wine industry insiders.

The Destin Charity Wine Auction Weekend is sponsored by the DCWA Foundation and is their largest annual event. It has been recognized as one of the nation’s “Top 10 U.S. Charity Wine Auctions” by Wine Spectator Magazine for the last 4 years. The weekend event attracts wine aficionados, gourmet chefs, and celebrity vintners from around the globe to enjoy world-class wines on the spectacular Emerald Coast. Founded in 2005, the DCWA Foundation has donated more than $13 Million to Northwest Florida charities. Funds raised this year will benefit our local charities impacting the lives of children in need.
