Halloween is just around the corner, and we have mapped out nine of our favorite places along 30A and in Destin to celebrate and show off your costumes. From family-friendly trick-or-treating, to adults-only costume parties – we’ve got you covered!
1. Trunk-or-Treat
Thursday, October 26th at 10:30AM
Coastal Branch Library in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida
Free to the Public
The Walton County Coastal Branch Library hosts the Trunk or Treat children’s costume parade. Parents are invited to seek inspiration from their favorite spooky children’s book to decorate their car trunks.
2. Barktoberfest
Thursday, October 26th from 5PM to 7PM
Grand Park at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin, Florida
Dog-Harmony and Grand Boulevard invite you to celebrate all things fall with your furry friends. Complimentary refreshments, including puppy and people treats, will be served.
3. Halloween Haunt
Friday, October 27th from 6PM to 8PM
Destin Commons
Full of spooky rafts, fantasy face painting, trick-or-treating, Halloween Haunt at Destin Commons also features a costume contest for children, newborn to 12 years, as well as a costume contest for dogs.
4. Noche de los Muertos
Friday, October 27th from 8PM to 11:30PM
Caliza Pool in Alys Beach, Florida
$50 for General Admission / $1,500 for Cabana
This “night of the dead” costume party features a DJ, cash bar, and costume contest. Purchase tickets to this over-the-top adult costume party in advance online, in person at Fonville Press or Alys Shoppe, or at the door on the day of the event.
5. Seaside Halloweener Derby Day
Saturday, October 28th from 10AM to 2PM
Seaside Town Center
Registration is $25
This FUNdraiser brings together some of the area’s top dogs for a day of fun in the sun. The derby is reserved for Dachsunds, but the costume contest is open to all breeds. Make sure to purchase tickets!
6. Monstrous Halloween Celebration & Trick-or-Treating in Rosemary Beach
Saturday, October 28th from 2PM to 5PM
Rosemary Beach Town Center
Bring the little ghosts and goblins for trick-or-treating at shops throughout Rosemary Beach, Florida and the Harvest Market artist booths. Enjoy a pumpkin carving contest and costume contest with prizes, hayrides, moonwalk, games, airbrush tattoos, spin art, music, and more!
7. BooLu’s and Trunk-or-Treat at Lulu’s
Saturday, October 28th from 2PM to 5PM
Lulu’s Destin
Going on its third year, BooLu’s features pumpkin decorating, kid’s crafts, an inflatable play area, and live music. Trunk-or-treat in the Lulu’s parking lot during the event.
8. Annual Fall Festival
Tuesday, October 31st from 6PM to 9PM
Destiny Worship Center at all 4 locations (Destin, Panama City Beach, Crestview and Freeport)

9. The Bay’s Halloween Zombie Stomp
Tuesday, October 31st from 5PM to 7PM for children, and 7PM-10PM for adults

Spooky, scary, cute, or goofy, wear your best costume to The Bay this Halloween night, October 31st! It’s time to take it over the top with this year’s costume. The winner of the adult costume contest will win $500! First, from 5-7PM, The Bay will host a kids costume contest with great prizes and plenty of candy to go around. There will be food stations with fun, halloween foods for the kids and amazing food for the grown-ups too. Then, from 7-10PM The Bay welcomes adults to participate in the costume contest with first, second and third places winners, chosen by judges. Dance the night away with DJ 30A on the beach and hop in the photo booth so you can take your memories home with you!
