Meals on Wheels
Currently there are over 5,000 programs for senior nutrition in the United States. Together these programs have provided over 1 million meals to seniors in need every day. Some deliver meals straight to the home of the senior who may have limited transportation, while others meet up and serve meals at senior community centers. Their goal is to make sure senior citizens in need are provided with the food and nutrition needed to remain healthy.
