Gone Swimming: The Top 10 Pools on 30A

Confession time: The beaches along the Emerald Coast are among the best, but when it’s those sticky and humid dog days of summer, for us, nothing beats a refreshing dip in the pool. We’ve seen all types, especially over the past 12 months, when the real estate market has been as hot as an August Saturday. Some of them we’ve sold during that time period, others we simply remember as being spectacular, and still, others are neither for sale nor recently sold, but still warrant a place on our list.
We asked our agents to weigh in on their favorites. So, grab your bathing suit, a good book and your sunscreen and take a lap with us through our top 10 pools of 30A.

10. WaterHouse 102 | Seacrest Beach

How could a rooftop pool not make our Top 10 list? This heated option atop the WaterHouse condos on Scenic Highway 30A lets you cool off in style while keeping those gulf views in sight.

9. Camp WaterColor

Camp WaterColor is the newest resort amenity available to guests of this iconic 30A community and features a main butterfly pool with Monarch slide, a caterpillar pool with a children’s area and skipper slide, and a lazy lizard pool with a lazy river. In short, if you can’t find something to cure your pool ails here, it probably doesn’t exist.

8. 23 Seafoam Alley | Alys Beach

This pool belongs to the most exquisite gulf-front offering ever presented in Alys Beach. With chairs, bench seating and swings that sit atop the water, it’s one spot you’ll never want to leave.

7. 60 Mako Drive | Seagrove

Perfectly optimized for entertaining, this Seagrove masterpiece includes a resort-style gulf-front pool area and spa situated almost 25 feet above the beach, yielding unmatched water views as well as optimal privacy.

6. 15 E Blue Coral Drive | Blue Mountain Beach

Newly completed in 2020, this contemporary coastal retreat boasts an expansive outdoor oasis with numerous benefits including a screened lanai, built-in grill and plenty of seating for al fresco dining.

5. 35 Hinton Drive | Seagrove

When a home is named “La Piscina,” which translates from Spanish to “the pool,” you know it’s a shoo-in for a list like this. Featuring the largest private pool and sitting spa on 30A, this gulf-view home can sleep 26 and still offer plenty of pool space for everyone.

4. Cypress Dunes

Our COO, Wes Madden, called this one a “hidden gem” and we couldn’t agree more. Tucked in the private community of Cypress Dunes, this pool is enjoyed by neighborhood residents from its main level or a second-level sunset deck.

3. 142 Seagrove Village Drive | Seagrove Beach

Did someone say “fire?” We simply couldn’t get enough of this ultra-contemporary residence in Seagrove Beach, including its oversized resort-style pool and adjoining spa, separated by a massive linear gas fireplace.

2. 146 Montgomery Street | Seagrove

If one pool is good, two pools are better, right? The record-shattering sale of Mont Blanc gifted its new owners with one pool on the first floor, complete with an expansive pool deck, and a rooftop plunge pool on the top floor, where year-round sunsets are the envy of all.

1. Alys Beach Club

Built exclusively for owners in Alys Beach, the much-anticipated Beach Club debuted in November 2020 and will be open for residents during the 2021 beach season. Presiding over three levels right on the Gulf of Mexico, guests can enjoy an infinity pool, cabanas and casual dining venue, all with a view to remember.

Honorable Mention: 195 E. Mitchell Ave.

This one isn’t located on Scenic Highway 30A, but its bayfront locale is worth a mention, where you can enjoy drinks while floating and taking in gorgeous Choctawhatchee Bay views.
