Reaching $681,361,793 in sales – our greatest annual sales volume yet and a 28% increase over 2016 – we made our way to the very top thanks to the trust and support of our valued customers, landing at No. 1 in sales market-wide.
Our year began with the addition of Wes Madden. Hailing from Fairbanks, Alaska where he operated a highly successful real estate team ranked Top 50 in the United States since 2009 – responsible for closing over 4,500 transactions and $1 billion in sales – Wes assumed the role of Chief Operating Office and Sales Manager, exclusively focusing on mentoring Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty agents.
On the heels of a strong first quarter, we opened our third location at City Market Bayside in Destin, establishing a brick-and-mortar presence in an area we long held strong market share in. Along with our original location on Scenic 30A in Blue Mountain Beach near Draper Lake and our flagship location at 30Avenue near Rosemary Beach, we are well positioned to efficiently service buyers and sellers in the Destin, 30A, and Panama City Beach markets.
