We couldn’t leave you salivating over these outdoor kitchens without offering you a recipe to enjoy this summer. Try your hand at this flavorful blackberry BBQ sauce — a tasty complement to pork, ribs or even waffles:

  • 1 1/2 cups blackberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1 T. fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • (Optional) Red pepper flakes, to taste

Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Cook over heat for 10 minutes, until thickened.
