Meet Jessica D’Aleo – another of our DREC Yolo Team members our friends at Yolo Board were kind enough to connect us with.   Sure to be a force to be reckoned with, Jessica is a fierce competitor  with many accolades.  Jessica gave us the opportunity to grill her about all things SUP.

Hometown: Beloit, WIÂ
SUP Experience: 5 Â Years
Other Hobbies:Â Tennis, running, chasing 2 sonsÂ
How were you introduced to SUP?
I paddled in the Yolo Board Relay Series in 2008. Â My very first experience on a board was racing, from that moment I was hooked. Â Â
Where is your favorite paddle spot?
Nothing beats the Gulf of Mexico anytime of day & the Choctawhatchee Bay.
Who do you paddle with?
My family and the extensive Yolo Family. Â Â
What do you like best about the sport?
SUP is an anytime, anywhere sport. Â There is so much variety between conditions, locations and paddle partners that it never becomes old. Â I particularly like to get out in the Gulf when there is surf with my kids. Â It’s the one activity we can all do together. Â Â
Are you involved with any other organizations?
I am involved with USTA Florida Jr. Team Tennis & I volunteer at our local schools. Â Â
Join us TODAY at 5:00pm On the BEAUTIFUL Western Lake at the WaterColor BoatHouse.   This is a local event you don’t want to miss!
