Just east of Seaside, some “old” South Walton stomping grounds are seeing a lot of new activity. Construction is springing up on the Gulf of Mexico along Scenic 30A, and progress is being made at Viridian, occupying the northwest corner of the 30A and Highway 395 intersection.
Just as remarkably, new construction is taking place off the beach in Old Seagrove as well. With limited home sites remaining in the area, prices have edged higher.
Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty recently sold two adjacent lots on Holly Street, collectively closing for $1,135,000 – the highest price to date for interior lots in Old Seagrove. They sit one lot east of Highway 395, just one block north of 30A within easy reach of Seaside and beach access.
