Starting this April, BOTE Boards and KMLM will be hosting Destin’s “Triple Crown” in stand up paddle board racing. Competitors will face a gauntlet of challenging race courses against some of Destin’s best paddle boarders. Races will be held at Norriego Point in Destin Harbor, and include a solo 2 mile race and a 4-man team race over quarter mile stretches (total 1 mile).
The Triple Crown SUP in Destin is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn more about stand up paddle boarding (SUP), and have a blast. Destin is home to some of the world’s finest beaches and beautiful waters — making the event that much more better. For those who have paddled along the emerald waters, they know it’s a unrivaled experience that can’t be seen anywhere else in the nation. 2013 Event Schedule
The SUP series will be held on the 4th Thursday of April, May, and June. Dates are as follows:
- April 25th at 5:30 p.m.
- May 23rd at 5:30 p.m.
- June 27th at 5:30 p.m.

Registration
Registration begins at 4:30 on the event day. It costs $10 to enter solo races and $5 per person on the relay races. Points and prizes will be awarded to winners of each race. Whoever/Whichever team holds the most points at the end of the series will receive an aggregate prize, which include gift certificates, BOTE Boards, and cash.
