Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty welcomes Wes Madden to its team. Madden assumes the newly created leadership roles of Chief Operating Officer and Sales Manager within the expanding firm.

Upon his medical retirement from the United States Army, Madden utilized his officer training to establish Madden Real Estate in Fairbanks, Northpole, and Anchorage, Alaska. Skillful at identifying and hiring specialists focused on delivering a streamlined and specialized real estate experience to customers, Madden grew his company to become the Number 1 real estate team in Alaska – a title it has held since 2009 – and a Top 50 producing team in North America according to REAL Trends magazine and Wall Street Journal.

With more than 4,500 real estate transactions under his belt, Madden has been honored with recognitions that include the Zillow Legend in Your Community Award in 2014, Alaska Journal of Commerce Top Forty Under 40 in 2016, and the Bill Biven Small Business of the Year Award by the Alaska State Chamber.

Madden obtained his Bachelor’s of Science and Education from the University of Nebraska and his Masters of Business Administration from Touro University. Prior to establishing his real estate career, Madden served in the United States Army as a medical evacuation (Dustoff) Black Hawk pilot. He performed rescues all over Alaska and was decorated in combat operations while serving in Afghanistan. Madden is relocating to Florida with his wife Laura and their three sons, Bo, Sam and Max.
